Beyond the obvious ways of contributing to my campaign, I think it’s absolutely critical that as many people as possible know that there’s a municipal election this October 15th. Voter turn out for municipal elections is on a steady decline, and that’s really not fair. Local government is the level of government that impacts you every single day. The roads you drive on, the sewers beneath your feet, the parks you play in. All of it is provided by local government. Get to know your candidates, figure out what’s important to you, and who you want the leaders of Sechelt to be for the next four years.
